I know, it's been a while. If I have a couple readers, I'm sorry. A lot has been going on. We finally bought our first home, and hopefully we never have to move again. It took way longer than I wanted, but all of our stuff is at the new place. It's slowly getting unpack because of course I'm the only one doing it. I made chuck help tonight, but he didn't do much. We had to put a ton of empty bottles above the kitchen cabinets, so I needed someone to hand them to me.
And today we brought home a new pup. Our first puppy together. We named her Sanza, after a game of thrones character who went thru a lot to be rescued, sorta. She is 11 months and a German Shepard and Alaskan Husky mix. Very pretty, still on the smaller side, and her left eye is blue while her right eye is brown. MJ so far likes her. She keeps trying to walk her around the house on her leash and show her things. It's cute. I do hope she stays on the smaller side, but I'm sure she's gonna get bigger. She doesn't get along with the cats yet, and because she kept scratching at the door, I'm sleeping with her in MJ's room. Uhg! Now I totally want to get the guest bedroom put together so I can sleep there instead, or put the cats in there. Hopefully in a couple months they will get along.
Otherwise all of us have gotten sick. Chuck is on his second round, while MJ and I are still on our first. So that has slowed down our unpacking. It's also been a colder winter this year it seems, so on top of that and moving and the holidays, I'm not surprised we all came down with something so that we had to rest. But I still have a ways to go with getting this house together. It takes time, but I just hope not as much as it has been. So I just need to be sick free, get some good rest, and dive right in.
